Farmer James is the sixth generation to farm this land. He is passionate about educating the public about how their food is grown and about using sustainable farming methods, like cover crops to prevent soil erosion and significantly reducing the use of insecticide and fungicide by using natural methods of pest control wherever possible.
There is a farm market on site that’s open Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm and Saturdays, 9am-5pm from May-October. The rest of the year, you are welcome to stop in or call ahead Monday to Saturday. You can also find them at a variety of farmers’ markets and at their produce stand in Dunnville.
They produce pure maple syrup, honey, baking, freezer beef, preserves, jams and jellies, all of which are made from scratch in their own health inspected kitchen.
