Richardson’s Farm and Market

Farmer James is the sixth generation to farm this land. He is passionate about educating the public about how their food is grown and about using sustainable farming methods, like cover crops to prevent soil erosion and significantly reducing the use of insecticide and fungicide by using natural methods of pest control wherever possible.

There is a farm store on site that’s open Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm and Saturdays, 9am-4pm from June-October. The rest of the year, we are open Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm. Home delivery within Haldimand County is available and you can also find them at a variety of local farmers’ markets.

They produce pure maple syrup, honey, baking, freezer beef, preserves, jams and jellies, all of which are made from scratch in their own health-inspected kitchen.
