Rabi’s Grand Kitchen

Welcome to Chef Rabi’s flavourful and immersive culinary experience, taking place twice every month at the Riverside Exhibition Centre in beautiful Caledonia, Haldimand County. While guests can take a walk around the Grand River banks to enjoy the scenic beauty, the experience truly begins indoors where they will learn about various spices and techniques of East Indian cuisine while enjoying authentic music, story, and food. After crafting a beautiful dish together, guests will gather for a sit-down meal to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Participants will leave this experience with a deeper understanding of Haldimand’s unique food resources and the ways in which they can work in tandem with traditional foodways. Plus all guests get to take home an RGK Kit – so they can take what they’ve learned and try it all again in the comfort of their own home!

The Real. Haldimand. Marketplace is an online platform where multiple merchants are profiled as vendors with the objective of selling legal goods and/or services to customers. This is a tourism oriented marketplace, to provide a venue for our local small businesses including downtown retailers, makers, restaurants, producers and tourism operators to generate additional traffic online. Haldimand County does not facilitate any of the sales functions, or operational aspects for these vendors. Individual merchants are responsible for the maintenance of their individual stores including website, ecommerce platform, inventory, quality, shipping, payment and accuracy of information.
