Built in 1853 as a hotel for travelling salesmen, the Fisherville Hotel & Tavern remains a destination for tourists and travelers alike. Featured in Live Small Town Magazine, this historic restaurant is a great stop for craft beer, delicious food, and now has two 2-bedroom suites available for guests.

The Twisted Lemon Restaurant and Flavour Junkies offers a casual fine dining experience. Winners of Ontario Southwest’s 2017 Innovative Business of the Year and featured in Let’s Discover ON, the company focuses on locally grown ingredients including greens from its own garden.

Flyers Bakery and Café is an aviation-themed restaurant serving up tasty food all week long with all-day breakfast on Sunday. Flyers has been featured in Calculated Traveller’s blog and Dream Travel Magazine’s review.

Debb’s Cuisine on Queen

The Sunflower Café was recognized on a “To Eat Before You Die” list published in Canada’s National Post newspaper for its classic version of Carrot Cake. Don’t miss a slice!

Sweet Retrospect

Julia’s Bistro n Dunnville serves more than just pasta “like dad used to make” and is featured in Live Small Town Magazine for their grand breakfast and great burgers.

The Hen House Eatery, a cute food truck located on a farm in Selkirk, is a great place to eat a burger made from local beef. Sit and watch the horses and chickens while you dine outside, as featured in Let’s Discover ON.

The Minga was also featured in Let’s Discover ON. As a non-profit coffee shop and vegan fare restaurant, the Minga uses locally grown produce from its sister business Shared Harvest Community Farm & Education Centre.

Locally made hard cider and beer that will please every palate. Local flavours and ingredients means you will only find it here.

Craving Craft Beer? Concession Road Brewing is Haldimand’s first and only craft micro-brewery and is located in an old renovated firehall in Jarvis. Staples on tap include: Air Raid IPA, Lumber Jacket Brown Ale, Fire House Blond Ale and Saison du Monde. Drop in to the taproom and sample a flight of what’s on tap.

Bains Road Cider produces a unique and locally sourced line of ciders. By purchasing excess fruit from local farmers, harvesting fence-row fruit that would go to waste, and growing their own produce, Bains Road Cider creates delicious ciders that have an extremely small environmental footprint. Available at the on-farm store by appointment or at select farmers markets.
