James is a 6th generation farmer who runs Richardson’s Farm and Market on the same rich lands that his ancestors once farmed.
Richardson’s Farm and Market sells a wide variety of produce such as strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, and much more. However, Richardson’s also specializes in pre-made meals, soups, pies, tarts, maple syrup, and other ready-to-eat goods.
Not only can you find James and his crew at the Hagersville market every Wednesday, but you will also see him at the Caledonia market every Thursday, and the Dunnville market every Tuesday and Saturday. It is also highly recommended to visit Richardson’s farm in Dunnville, to find their gorgeous on-site market filled with their own and other locally sourced products. Depending on the time of year you can also go on sugar bush tours with pancake breakfast, pick your own strawberries, go for wagon rides to the pumpkin field and pick your own pumpkins, feed the goats, play in the corn box, and in the straw jump. Take lots of pictures at their photo op stations, drink hot apple cider, and browse the store.
