Caledonia Fair

Combining the traditions of the country fair – livestock shows, home craft, food, and the midway – with continuous entertainment, makes the Caledonia Fair a perfect Autumn outing for the entire family. From homemade pies, rides, demolition derby, entertaining shows to heavy horses – this fair has been entertaining residents and visitors for over 145 years.

Dunnville Fair

Everything you expect in a country fair, rides for the kids, entertainment and great food. Held in Dunnville Lion’s Park. “Something to crow about!”

Dunnville Mudcat Festival

This festival celebrates the town mascot, “Muddy The Mudcat”.  Festivities include; a parade, vendors, entertainment, fireworks, blues night, children’s entertainment, strongman/woman competition, car show and more.

Hagersville Rocks

This two day festival at the Grant Kett Memorial Park, features local and national recognized musicians covering primarily Country music with some Celtic Rock, Rockabilly, Folk, and Blues thrown in. It’s a family friendly, licensed, all ages event. Kids 12 and under are admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult. Grant Kett Park is a natural amphitheatre setting. Purchase tickets in advance.

Hagersville Summers End Festival

Free one-day community festival is organized by the Hagersville and District Lions Club to cap off the end of summer and thank area residents for their support throughout the year. Families will enjoy the inflatable play area, crafts for the kids, vendors, horse-drawn wagon rides, live entertainment, and a car cruise-in.

Selkirk Gas Festival

This 3 day festival in August celebrate the long history of natural gas wells in the area.  It includes a “Sweet Cheeks” baby contest, calithumpian parade, food, crafters, heritage displays, demonstrations, activities for the kids, dance with live band.

Caledonia Canada Day

Featuring a community breakfast, parade, inflatable rides, shopping and food. Stroll the grounds shopping for unique items, and enjoy traditional festival-food. In addition, Caledonia Canada Day boasts a main stage chock-full of the best local entertainment. A huge fireworks display takes place over the Caledonia Fairgrounds at dusk.

Dunnville Canada Day in the Park

The Optimist Club of Dunnville, the Lioness of Dunnville, and Dunnville Legion Branch 142 organize the annual Dunnville Canada Day in the Park. The morning begins with a Pancake Breakfast at the Optimist Hall 8 -10AM, and then over to Dunnville’s Central Park for Free festivities at 11AM! Enjoy games, entertainment, music and vendors which will be topped off with cake and ice cream.

Selkirk Heritage Day

Sponsored by the North Erie Shore Historical Society, this annual event on the third Monday in February at the Selkirk Centennial Community Centre. Old-fashioned crafts, heritage displays and demonstrations, music, 10-cent ice cream cones, and much more.
Dunnville Urban Challenge
The Rotary Club of Dunnville hosts this annual adventure. Test your knowledge of Dunnville in this fun, family-friendly. Walk or run! In this event you will receive a map and a list of clues directing them to 20 locations around Dunnville. 10 checkpoints are classic, old-school orienteering checkpoints in local parks. 10 are “clue” checkpoints directing you to local landmarks.

Turnip the Beets

This is an annual music festival held on Shared Harvest and Education Centre’s organic farm. Enjoy local music, artists, food fresh out of their 4 acre certified organic gardens, ping pong tables, vendors, farm tours, and new fun every year. The meals are yummy, the music is groovin’ and the vibe is chill.

Haldimand Norfolk Pride Day

Fly the rainbow flag on this welcoming, family-friendly free event to celebrate LGBTQ2 communities. Haldimand Norfolk Pride Day is a celebration, come and listen to live music and enjoy the handmade market and food vendors.
