Rock Point Provincial Park
Exposed fossils of a coral reef dating back to over 350 million years embedded in limestone shelf along the beach.
Mohawk Island (formerly called Gull Island)
This heritage lighthouse has been deserted for many years and the island is a National Wildlife Area (you cannot visit the island because of its nesting grounds, but it can be viewed from the mainland or by boat).
Port Maitland Pier & Lighthouse
The long concrete pier juts out into Lake Erie and is a popular fishing spot. The original lighthouse was built in 1846 to protect the popular shipping industry of the day.
