Toronto Motorsports Park
Dream of driving a high-performance sports car, or racing a friend on a drag strip? You can now cross these off your bucket list! Toronto Motorsports Park (TMP) has a diverse motorsports facility, currently housing a National Hot Rod Association-sanctioned quarter-mile drag strip, a challenging and versatile 3km road course, and a handlebar-gripping motocross track.
Don’t miss TMP’s signature drag racing event, the Canadian Nitro Nationals, held annually on Canada Day weekend. Hear the roar of the crowd as elite racers compete at this prestigious competition.
Having so many world-class tracks in Haldimand has led to the development of numerous additional fun events and hands-on experiences.
The Exotic Dream Car Experience
A closed-road racing circuit provides you with the opportunity to drive your choice of high-performance cars, including a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430, Porsche 997 Turbo or Nissan GT-R in a safe and controlled environment.
Drag Racing Experience
Wait for the lights to count down then put the pedal to the metal in your Mustang V8 on a straight-a-way drag race. Instruction is provided by a professional 300mph jet car driver! These muscle cars reach speeds of more than 100mph in just seconds…don’t blink…you might miss it!
Street Car Experience
Drive a 1998 BMW 5401 or 1988 Porsche 944 or other vehicles available on the closed 3km road racing circuit.
F2000 Driving Experience
Channel your inner racecar driver for the unbelievable experience of driving single-seated, open-wheeled formula racing cars on a challenging, yet safe, road course. Full-day programs consist of in-class instruction by professionals and coached track time.
Motorcycle and car instructional courses are also available at the park, as well as “Take it to the Track” events where you can use your own car. Programs are designed and run by former professional race car driver and track owner, Uli Bieri.

The Steam Boat Alley paddling experience starts at Kinsman Park in the old town of Cayuga (61 Ouse St S. Cayuga).
Park there, get outfitted, and receive an orientation and map of your trip, then you are shuttled upstream to the old steamship village of York… where you paddle back to your vehicle.
There is no waiting for a return pickup… because your trip ends where your car is parked!
There are washrooms & picnic tables at the beginning and end, plus across the road is the York Country Store for snacks!
