Artisans and craftsmen
Our artisans and craftsman will create something unique for you to take home and remember your visit. Take time to talk to our skilled craft workers about their traditional and new techniques involved in making your new hand-made treasure.
The Carolinian Café and Eatery
While enjoying a cappuccino created to your specifications, view the artwork on display both from local and Canadian artists and photographers. Using locally sourced meat and produce, the Carolinian features in-house freshly baked muffins and cookies, or enjoy a classic Panini pressed deli sandwich.
Edinburgh Square Heritage and Cultural Centre
Explore the history of Haldimand County through permanent & temporary exhibits, including artwork relating to the region. An annual juried art exhibition is held every May. Formerly the Caledonia Town Hall and Lock-Up, built over 150 years ago by noted architect John Turner, Edinburgh Square Heritage & Cultural Centre presents the history of Caledonia through educational and outreach activities and a number of permanent & temporary exhibits.
The Minga
A local artist is featured every month, and the artwork on display is for sale. Grab a latte and muffin in this inclusive, welcoming space where people of all ages can come together to enjoy healthy, locally sourced, organic, handcrafted food and fairtrade, organic coffee.
Ruthven Park National Historic Site
Looking to view historic art? Learn about the history of the area through art pieces of and by members of the Thompson family in a tour of this unique historic estate overlooking the Canadian Heritage Grand River, and experience the mansion and the lifestyle of the family who lived here from the 1840s to 1990s.
