IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s

WHERE: Jarvis Lion’s Park
The Alzheimer Society’s national fundraiser is happening in May. Participants are encouraged to walk every day in May to honour the 260,000 people living with dementia in Ontario. There will be a celebration walk in Jarvis (formerly three separate events in Simcoe, Caledonia, & Dunnville). We invite people of all ages and abilities to come walk with us in Jarvis. Walk a lot or walk a little – walk at 10am or stop by at 11am or Noon – whatever time best suits the participants’ schedules.
When participants arrive, they check-in with Registration at the Lawn Bowling Building. When they’re ready – they can make their way to the paved pathway and begin to walk around the park. The pathway is about 1km and loops back to the beginning, so participants can do laps to increase their step count.
We are asking for registrations online to let us know who will be attending in-person. This way we can verify our event does not exceed outside gathering limits and provide us with contact information for contact tracing purposes, if needed.
